Protesting Property Tax Appraisals Town Hall

It’s that time of year again! Property tax appraisals are coming in the mail soon.

Join appraisal protest expert and SWBC Ad Valorem Tax Advisors President Gary Rivas and I for a presentation on the protest process and an open forum and Q&A.

To learn more about the appraisal protest process and how you can potentially save money on your property taxes, please join us at Hobby Middle School (11843 Vance Jackson Rd) on Wednesday, March 25th, from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Constituent Services On The Go

Once a month my team and I make ourselves available for Constituent Services On The Go, an extended office hours session where you can get face-to-face time with the District 8 Office.

Have any questions or concerns about developments in your neighborhood, District 8, or the City of San Antonio?

Join us at Checos Mexican & American Grill (5999 De Zavala Rd, #136) on Saturday, March 21st, from 9:00-11:00 AM.

March Coffee Drive

For the outreach specialists at Haven for Hope, coffee is a bridge, a conversation starter to help connect those in need with vital social services.

That is why my team is accepting coffee donations throughout the entire month of March. Any type of coffee – excluding k-cups – will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the District 8 Field Office (13330 Kyle Seale Pkwy).

For large donations, please contact our office at (210) 207-0943 to coordinate logistics.

If you have any questions, please contact my office at (210) 207-0943.

Each of these events and initiatives is made better by the participation of engaged neighbors. I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Councilman Manny Peláez
