City Infrastructure & Maintenance

Did you know that the City of San Antonio has a schedule for all of the street repairs and maintenance? Known as the Infrastructure Management Program (IMP), the city’s five year rolling plan sets the schedule for preventative maintenance, repair, and even total restoration of our city streets. Throughout the year, city staff from the Transportation and Capital Improvements (TCI) Department coordinates with the City Council members from each District to add streets to the next available Fiscal Year for maintenance and repair. Currently, Manny Pelaez’s team (Our District 8 Councilman) is working to prepare a list of streets to recommend for the Fiscal Year 2025 IMP in anticipation of the beginning of budget talks this spring.

If you want to know if your street is currently on the IMP, you can visit the interactive IMP Map on the City of San Antonio website here. If you do not see a street on the schedule, but you believe it needs attention, let his team know! This way, they can work and attempt to make sure every street that needs attention can be added to the IMP for the next available Fiscal Year.

You can let Manny Pelaez’s team know about streets that need attention by calling their field office at (210) 207-0943, or by emailing their infrastructure specialist at beau.anderson@sanantonio.gov.
